Congressman John K. Delaney authored an op-ed in The Hill analyzing the state of housing finance reform and outlining the benefits of his legislation, The Partnership to Strengthen Homeownership.
Introduced with Reps. Jim Himes and John Carney, the legislation combines private sector pricing with a government guarantee, a new solution that protects the 30-year fixed rate mortgage and better shields taxpayers from future bailouts.
