“The Trump administration’s failure to properly vet staff security clearances is just another example of the incompetence of the White House. Other than in a family owned business, nepotism is a form of corruption and it has no place in the West Wing of the White House. Jared Kushner’s continued access to classified information, despite the objections of the intelligence community, shows that the Trump administration does not place a priority on national security. I am happy to see Congressman Cummings take this breach of protocol seriously and I look forward to Congressional investigations into this truly serious matter.”
